For Age groups ranging from 7 years old to 17 years old.

Giving kids the chance to learn to surf and paddleboard, while building self-esteem and making new friends. Please note: all equipment including wetsuits, surfboards, stand up paddle boards, and boogie boards will be provided at no additional cost.

Campers are allowed to bring their own equipment if applicable but it is not necessary.

Drop off and pick up will be near the Cook Bath House, 99 Hull Shore Drive (corner of Beach Ave and Franklin St.), Hull, MA 02045.
 

Drop off at 9 am and pick up at 1 pm.​

Campers should be prepared to spend a day a day at the beach. Some of the required/recommended items are:

-Bathing suit (needs to be on before arriving at camp)

-Beach towel

-SPF rash guard/sun shirt (strongly recommended)

-Wetsuit (recommended but not necessary)

-Sun screen

-Water bottle

-Sandals/Flip-flops

-Lunch in a cooler or brown bag (Mon-Thurs only – Pizza party on Friday)

-Daily trips to a nearby convenience store will be made. Campers should be prepared with money, should parents wish them to make the trip with our staff.

* Campers with allergies should bring any medication or Epi Pens with them on a daily basis in a cooler.*

 

Surf Camp Activities will include:

Beginners: Paddling - Wave Choice- "Pop Ups" - Surf Etiquette - Turning - Duck Diving and Turtling

Intermediate to Advanced: Cutbacks - Noseriding and more

​

Stand Up Paddling: Proper Paddle Technique, Paddle Workout, Ocean Safety

​

Beach Games: Wiffle Ball, Dodgeball, Stand Up Paddle Races, Football, Frisbee and more

Ocean Safety and Beach Care

Throughout the week, campers will be asked to bring their own bagged or coolered lunch, however, on Friday campers will be treated to a Pizza Party and will be given their certificate of completion.

Make-up Days
Due to our student-instructor ratio standards we do not offer make-up days if your child is tardy, absent or picked up early from camp. Scheduled make-up days are only offered if camp is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 28 days prior to the start of camp to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given if camp is canceled within 28 days of camp session, or during session. No refunds will be given for missed days, tardy days, or early dismissals. No refunds will be given after the completion of camp.

 

Inclement Weather

Should the weather be unsafe for our camp to be held, i.e. lightning/thunderstorms, large surf, etc., we will notify campers and their families that morning of the cancellation. Campers will be allowed to select a make up date from one of the following sessions. East Coast Hui will require a minimum of 24 hrs notice prior to the chose make up date in order to accommodate.
No refunds will be issued for missed days of camp. Please call 617-548-7988 if you have any questions.
